2007 RESULTS

Thank you for making this another successful year. We raised approximately $13,200 this year, and $90,000 over the last 9 years. Benefiting:

The 9th Annual Run For Kathy is in memory of Kathryn Popp Long. The event celebrates Kathy's lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle while raising much-needed funds for cancer research. Runners, walkers, sponsors and volunteers from all over the Baltimore-Washington DC metro area have helped to make this event a success each year. All proceeds benefit the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. This event is not only dedicated to the memory of Kathryn Popp Long, but is also dedicated to everyone affected by this terrible disease.

To date you have helped us to raise over $90,000 for cancer research. Our ultimate goal is to raise over $100,000. Please continue to support us by registering for the race, making a donation, becoming a sponsor, or volunteering.

Cancer Survivors:

If you are a cancer survivor, you can run for free. Simply go to the Mail-in Registration Form and check the appropriate box. And, spread the word. The more cancer survivors we have running, the more others will be inspired to help with cancer research.

Sponsors:

Our sponsors have been tremendously generous in supporting the race. For a list of all sponsors, click on Sponsors. If your company is interested in becoming a sponsor in return for advertisements, click on Sponsorship Opportunities. A small percentage of your amount will help with the cost of the event, while the remaining will be donated directly to cancer research.
